I hope it turn up to be like that 'cause it's kinda lame that the characters are almost inmortals.... death doesn't mean shit, it like "oh! he died...oh well, he can be resurrected"... Maaaybe it's something "different" from other manga or anime, but in my opinion it sucks...

His last death did seem kind of final, but it wouldn't surprise me if that girlfriend managed to become part of the gantz team and decided to bring him back.

Yeah, same thoughts here... but that's what I mean,his death looks "kinda" final... it's not the real deal... I accept that I got really excited when Kei "revived" Katou and the idea of reviving members looked good, but then I think it took out 'something' of the series... Kei experience when he lost everyone was traumatic, it showed Gantz as an even more frightening system which considered people as replaceable, as some tool for his own agenda... Kei changed a lot with that experience and help him to archieve many missions caring that all people survive, like 'in memoriam' of his lost friend Katou... But when Katou and the rest was revived, I don't know, it took out the 'sad part' and also the emotion... the fact that they could go in a mission and never return (I know that the revived ones are clones, but still) or loose a buddy was dramatic... I know that still it is hard to archieve that number of points, but still is possible...

Again that's my opinion, probably there's lot of people that like this way... But I think Gantz lost a lot with that 'option' ... I hope Hiroya continue the story in a way that, with this facts, the story keep thrilling and good...

Izumi's death by the vampire, sappy crap with his gf, then dies, but wasn't there something more then just his death.

The whole mass reviveing of everyone was great at first, but in retrospect, it really does trivialize so many things, almost every char that had a part in the story and died, can easily come back now.

The whole point system for the mass alien's really made everything prior seem kind of, well, pathetic also for all the dhrama and story put into the past battles.

Still, it's intresting, but theres just so many ways for it to go, and not all of them look good, heh.

You told me he didn't die and I was crazy a while ago, wasn't sure so I re-read it back then, but didn't feel like I needed to point it out in justification or anything heh.

Oh well, it was pretty obvious he was going to die either way, even if you didn't read it heh.

Kei couldn't have a normal life after all that, heh.

But it was nice to see that he didn't just end up back in the room, just plain old dead. Although it'll be a change without Kei, grown attached, lol.

Seriously though, if they can actually revive him outside of the room, and outside of the "killed in action" stuff, wouldn't that mean they can revive anyone at any time, from any place, tt..

I think Hiroya just got bored of Kurono... his death was rather artificial, like if Hiroya suddenly realized this... or maybe he didn't know what else to "do" with Kurono... or maybe he realized that the story was getting so lame that he needed a "punch" to wake up the fans and keep story (and also the money) flowing....

....who knows....

Meh, I'm still not entierly sure if that vampire who chopped Kei's head off and got teleported into the room is Akira, or just looks exactly like he does, heh.

Most likely is, but eh, can't say 100% sure.

Think it's bound to be more of a "Kill off kei, develop his vampire brother untill that gets old, then time to kill off Akira and bring back kei."

But who knows by then, the rules deff have changed, heh. Also the vampires know just as much, if not more then the gantz team so far, so no idea.

Anyone whose a female and lead char pretty much, almost always finds a way to get screwed, either an alien representation, or a dream, or in actuality, heh.

Newest chapters finnaly released, but it's been so damn long that I almost don't care/felt nothing after reading them.

Kid beats on monsters, some kind of rat faced aliens attack civilians, and the "west coast" gantz team appears, whatever that's going to mean.
