And I think his writing ability is better than his drawing ability... Cause we don't see many 'pretty' people in his works.

Edit: Of course there are many other mangakas who write and draw, but the only one I could think of was him.

Personally i think that Death Note can be comparable to all the masterpieces that Naoki Urasawa has done, like Monster and 20th Century Boys type...such a masterpiece.

I liked the manga up until the Bloody New Years Eve (entire first arc).. after that it just killed itself

I often consider some of the "logical" thinking in DN to be complete bollocks
I'm basically reading it because of Light
evil bastards make interesting protagonists
I'm vastly amused by how he uses Misa... and she's easy on the eyes which always helps

well she isn't the smartest tool in the shed but I wouldn't say that she is stupid
she has shown that she can be somewhat intelligent when she puts her mind to it (I even recall Light saying something along the lines of "She isn't as dumb as she looks." at one point)
she is, however, completely ignorant of the reality of her situation with Light... her feelings just screw her over

Light won't kill Misa Misa. She will probably die before he rules the world. She could only live for 2 more years or so.

Shinigami eyes twice... 4(?) year jump since L died...
lets say we're talking about someone that will live to the age of 80
80 > Shinigami eyes > 40 > Shinigami eyes > 20
since we don't know how many years being saved by a Shinigami actually gives you (unless that was mentioned and I missed it), its impossible to say how long she has left
but she can't have too long, right?
