Trying to remember

I was just reading Akira and I remembered reading this one manga, perhaps a year or more ago, and I am now trying to find out its name.
It was about a group of students who shared various supernatural powers. Some of these students got their powers naturally but others escaped from an organization which their cultivated powers. I remember one of the characters who was still in the organization, (I think it was referred to as a factory?), who used his transportation powers to fly by constantly teleporting to a single spot in the air. I remember something about a character with glasses and a large amount of blood and gore. Any help is much appreciated.
