Laggy video

Postby KasugaSan » Fri Apr 24, 2009 3:10 am

Lately some latest anime episodes I watched suddenly become laggy, like those days when I first dl mkv on my previously crappy comp...

But now there's some lag in some anime I watched...I could understand why souten kouro was laggy
but I don't understand why Eden of the East episode 3 by gg would suddenly be laggy even though the previous episodes aren't....(it just happened in the opening, fortunately)

Is my computer just suddenly become crappy within the 1 week interval or something? /hmm
Is there any other way of not having to upgrade the comp....again

I was going to suggest checking your codecs but I guess you are using the CCCP which is one of the better codec packs (though I hate codec packs anyway)

What player are you using? Have you scanned for spyware and all that junk?

MPC newest version on CCCP

No spyware as far as I'm concerned
I assume there's very small spaces left in my drive C so that's probably the real problem....or my comp's quite crappy now

CHeck your cpu usage while watching it to see whether the bottleneck is at the processor...
If you think you have no spare hdd then clear some space and defrag o_o
Check the hash of the download (re-opening the torrent should do this for you.)
