Yes I am. While i love Ryu Hayabusa. the story for Ninja Gaiden 1 was shit.
While the game play is nice. it doesn't require any skill like people claim it does. all you gotta do is jump around like a tard and attack.

My brother got a wii so I just finished up tales of symphonia and have started into skies of arcadia. It's been a long time since an rpg actually challenged me a bit on normal mode. I also just put through the twilight hack on it and got homebrew running.

Yeah I agree with the DW6 being suckage I mean only like what 12 characters got a mousou mode. and they totally fucked with some characters like Sun Shang Xiang getting a bow and arrow. Srsly im not hard to please ... I mean Ive enjoyed past DW titles so that says something but the way they did 6 made it a pure atrocity.

It's incredible really, people like the series because its formula is so goddamn simple. Just add a couple characters, give some new skins for the characters, and change the layout of the maps each time and we'll buy the stupid game, but they couldn't even figure that out.

I feel the same way about Smash Bros. Brawl. They revamped the entire engine, when all they needed to was add some stages and characters and give us a cool soundtrack. Now the thing just feels clunky, slow, and floaty. Changing the way the game plays does nothing for the majority of the player base, as they really won't get into it enough to even tell the difference, but the minority who liked the way it was are completely turned off.

God of War 2, Majora's Mask, Tribes 2, Dynasty Warriors 3-5, etc. All brilliant because they sought to improve on the design rather than reinvent it. Obviously there are examples of the contrary, but there is so much potential needlessly killed because developers want to be different just for the sake of being different

In other news i'm enjoying FF4 on the DS quite a lot. The voice acting is shitty but ill give Square props for attempting it. Sone of the voices are downright hilarious because they are so horrible. (Like Edward) Tellah had a cool voice but he didnt go YOU SPOONY BARD with an actual voice so im somewhat crestfallen.
