Do you love your daily hit of shonen-ai goodness?
If so, this is the project for you!
Okay, now cutting out all the enthusiasm. There's a shonen-ai fantasy collaboration between Masaya Miryu and Takarai Rihito called Kakemakumo, Kashikoki (means something like think twice before you speak), and if you've read any of Takarai's works before, you'll kow that the artwork is superb. It's written entirely in kanji, so if you know either japanese or traditional chinese you'll be fine.
I'm an experienced editor (although I won't say how much experience
) who's looking for a casual translator to help out with the first chapter. I believe it's still ongoing, but I suspect that it's released in a quarterly magazine, so there'll be no obligations past the first chapter (approx 30 pages).I don't mind if you're inexperienced, just so long as you can take a decent stab at translating and get it right majority of the time
If you are inexperienced, this will be a great opportunity to try translating for yourself in a no pressure environment. If you are experienced, you should be able to get this done in a flash and cooly help out a lonely editor in need
This is the first black and white page of it:
