Indeed, yay forums!

Wasn't aware there was a previous attempt at them. Did it turn...ugly?

At least she's still on the main page.

If smaller. And flipped.

I'd have to agree, let's hope this attempt goes well. And I think it could get really interesting if there ended up being a few people from each of the active fansub groups posting here.

The fate of the forum is in your hands...haha. Of course we will evaluate whether it is worthwhile keeping the forum based on the usage by you guys.

Well, we'll see how it does, I suppose.

Here's hoping.

By "some users", you're actually trying to say "spammers", right? ;)

i dont see much spaming going on and its not that unsual that the admin has lesser post. Some users just like to post more than others.

Remember, post count != penis size

Only post if you have something to say. Sounds like an obvious thing to do, but it's amazing how many people post for the sake of posting.

I had some bad experiences with that on one of my last forums. Like six people hit 1000 posts in like 5 days. We're talking single word replies and some replies with nothing but an emoticon.

well, this board is just starting, so spammers aren't abounding yet, and when they do that's why boards have moderators, no? Though it would be nice if there was no spamming anyway... the last board I was a part of had a forum just for Spam, that seemed to help cut down on it for the most part.

Which leads me to a question.

Is it actually helpful to have a moderator for spam sections?

*shrugs* it would be kinda pointless to have a moderator if there was a spam forum...other then just having one to clean it out when it got too full and didn't want to bother the admins with that little task.
Though I'm stepping over the line in saying so since I'm a noob and I have no idea what tasks the mods are set for here.
